Andy Honeycutt

Managing Director

Mr. Honeycutt has provided professional services to municipal and utility organizations throughout his entire career, with 25 years of management experience in the public and private sectors.

He has received intensive training in utility operations at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and Boston College’s Institute of Corporate Community Involvement.

Mr. Honeycutt has provided executive project leadership and management for local government clients with a focus in utility operations, organizational design, change management, contract negotiations, meter solution design and smart meter installations.


Lauren Brown

Director of Client Services

Ms. Brown has extensive experience as a business consultant delivering complex solutions in the Local Government sector.

In her role as a consulting analyst, Lauren has been instrumental in delivering value-add solutions for clients on a consistent basis across a variety of projects, including a successful delivery of AMI/AMR implementation, organizational redesigns, and technology assessments.

As Director of Client Services, Lauren oversees the service delivery to MeterSYS clients through responsive support and effective project planning. Lauren is uniquely skilled in data analysis and management.

Lauren received her MPA from UNC-Wilmington with a focus on public policy and management.


Rodger Sauls

Director of Strategic Initiatives

Mr. Sauls has been associated with the electric utility industry for more than 30 years supporting business development and program management.  Rodger is responsible for focusing on strategic partnerships with water, electric, and gas organizations and providing direction on the company’s strategic focus in service to public utilities across the United States.

He is a 20-year member of the North Carolina Economic Developers Association and has served on it’s Board of Directors.  Rodger is a graduate of Barton College, the University of South Florida’s Economic Development Basic School, and the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute and holds a North Carolina Brokers License.

David Lopez, AMI Network/Metering Specialist

David brings over 25 years of water utility industry experience in Southern California, 20 years of which have been in the metering service area. David is a proven leader who thrives in environments requiring the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple, concurrent projects. He possesses excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.  David’s extensive Project Management experience for multiple large projects related to water meter change out programs and AMI implementation serves MeterSYS® customers effectively by understanding the perspective of public utilities.  He is frequently asked to be a speaker (also to sit on Panels) for AMR and AMI implantation at conferences and symposiums.

Cassius Williams, Field Operations Lead

Cassius Williams brings a tremendous level of experience and training in project management and has served as a Senior Level Technical Advisor.  Cassius is also an effective collaborator and excels in diverse environments when working with multiple departments and stakeholders. He possesses a broad knowledge and understanding of advanced metering and the value this technology provides utilities. Cassius has extensive experience in working with utilities, and he relentlessly pursues solutions that save time, are cost effective, and in the long-term best interest of the clients he serves.

Lisa Nguyen, Consulting Analyst

Ms. Nguyen has extensive experience in project and data management. She has previously worked in the nonprofit sector and continues to pursue civic engagement opportunities, both in a professional capacity and through volunteer work. As a consulting analyst at MeterSYS, Lisa is instrumental in delivering project management services and customer service support.

Lisa is responsible for data collection and management, issuing all project data requests, overseeing data submission and retention efforts, and leads information management operations for MeterSYS. On top of providing critical data retention standards, Ms. Nguyen also contributes to deliverable development and is excellent at transforming complex model outputs and project findings into digestible graphics and actionable recommendations. Her ability to contribute across all phases and types of projects make Lisa a valuable team member.

Lisa received her Master’s in Public Administration from UNC-Wilmington with a focus on Public Management.

Alfre Wimberley, Consulting Analyst

Alfre is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She pursued a B.S. in Environmental Science, Minor in Chemistry, and Concentration in Energy and Sustainability. She has previously worked in the non-profit sector in water and sustainability across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

As a Consulting Analyst, Alfre assists in data management and analysis across multiple MeterSYS projects. In addition to project work, she spearheads our Conservation initiative and contributes to the firm’s Post-Deployment services and Marketing campaigns. Alfre’s passion for conservation and sustainability is a perfect fit for MeterSYS and our ongoing efforts to support our utility customers in reducing water loss and improving resource management.

Erin Bearhalter, Marketing and Special Projects Coordinator

Mrs. Bearhalter has experience in marketing and public relations within local government and nonprofit organizations. In her role as the marketing and special projects coordinator she works with our clients in the selection, analysis and implementation of advanced meter solutions. She also updates the website, social media outlets and conducts interviews for press releases. Erin received her BS in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration followed by her Masters in Public Administration from Appalachian State University.
