MeterSYS team members led the conversion of 32,000 meters from AMR to AMI following a 20% failure of smartpoints and substantial increases in manual work.  The team members were successful in execution of the project by representing the interests of the utility for project budgeting, field data management, schedule compliance, project communication, equipment inventory, training, data integration, quality control, and system acceptance. By detailing reliability, support, software functionalities, maintenance, ongoing operational costs, and other critical requirements, MeterSYS was able to provide our client a high degree of confidence that the selected solution has the correct specifications for reliable service throughout the useful life of the smart metering system.  The utility has now a high performing AMI meter network and is benefitting from increases in water and related sewer revenues.
